Wedding Program
The program design and illustration were inspired by the wedding location – Mallorca, Spain. The ceremony took place at the Son Marroig Museum House gardens in the small, mountain town of Deià with a backdrop of its iconic Carrara marble temple and the Mediterranean Sea.
The temple and a setting sun became my inspiration and I incorporated the vivid orange color for the sun to also pay tribute to the vast orange groves that cover the island.
The final cover image is below on the far left. The two additional images are design elements that I created and incorporated into the program. The Irish blessing was selected to complement the woman's family heritage and I edited the couple's engagement photo, adding a gradient overlay in the same shape and color as the sun for the back cover image.
Below are other design options that I presented to the client but were not selected to move forward. Sharing these additional designs provides a bit of insight into my design process and how I work. Ideally, clients are presented with a minimum of three designs to choose from. Once selected, that design option sets the mood for other elements that may be included in the project.
